Change a Job

It may be necessary to change a job.

1.  In the Repair Order page, click the job command for the job you want to change.

2.  Click the Change Job command.

The Change Job page opens.

3.  Click the Select button.

The Select Complaint page opens.

4.  Scroll through the list of complaints. Select the complaint and click the Save button.

5.  In the Cause field, type the cause of the problem.

6.  In the Include jobs which have this Component Code field, type the component code.

and/or

7.  In the Include jobs which have this word (phrase) in the "Correction" field, type a keyword.

8.  Click the Search button.

The page changes to display jobs that meet your search.

9.  Click the job.

The job is entered in the Correction field.

 If the job you want is not listed, click the Unfound Job button. See Unfound Job.

10  In the Notes field, type any notes for the job.

11.  Click the Save button.

The page closes and the Repair Order page is updated with the new job information.
