You first create a Repair Order (RO) for a vehicle that needs service then you create jobs for each item that needs correcting on a vehicle. Each vehicle could have more than one job. Jobs can be created when you create an RO or added to an RO later.
You can have up to 99 jobs on an RO.
To add a job to an RO,
1. From the Planner page, click the Work Summary link for the RO you want to open
The Repair Order page opens.
2. Click the Add Job command.
The Add Job page opens.
3. Click the Select button.
The Select Complaint page opens.
4. Scroll through the list of complaints. Click the complaint and click the Save button.
5. In the Cause field, type the cause of the problem.
6. In the Include jobs which have this Component Code field, type the component code.
and/or
7. In the Include jobs which have this word (phrase) in the "Correction" field, type a keyword.
8. Click the Search button.
The page changes to display jobs that meet your search.
9. Click the job.
The job is entered in the Correction field.
If
the job you want is not listed, click the Unfound
Job button. See Unfound Job.
10. In the Notes field, type any notes for the job.
11. Click the Save button.
