Only authorized users can void RO’s.
Use caution when voiding an RO. Voiding an RO removes all associated jobs and resources that must be reentered if you change your mind about voiding the RO.
To remove the RO from the system,
1. From the Repair Order page, click the Void RO command.
The Confirm page opens asking:
Voiding a workorder will remove any applied resources and cancel all Jobs. You will not be able to reverse this process. Do you wish to void the work order?
Resources
are labor or parts. If you void an RO before applying labor and parts
already used on the RO, you cannot recapture the information and apply
it.
2. Click the Ok button to void the RO.
Click
the Close button to retain the
RO instead of voiding it.
The RO is removed from the Planner page but the record of the RO remains in the unit history page.
To completely remove the RO from the system,
1. From the Repair Order page, completely delete all jobs on the RO. See Delete a Job.
2. Click the Close button.
The RO closes and is removed completely from the system.
