Create New Repair Order Page

Use the Create New Repair Order page to begin the process of creating a new repair order.

The page contains tabs, fields, calendars, and buttons.

 

Fields

Field

Description

Unit Number

type the unit number, click the Select button, or type the customer unit number in the Customer Unit field, as appropriate

Customer Unit

type the unit number, click the Select button, or type the customer unit number in the Customer Unit field, as appropriate

Mileage

type the current unit mileage

Tech(s)

to assign the work now, type the tech or vendor name, or click the Select button to search for technicians

Vendor

to assign the work now, type the tech or vendor name, or click the Select button to search for technicians

PTCR

click the option button and click the Select button to search for PTCR

 

Calendars

Use the calendars and associated fields to designate the Schedule Date (when the repairs are scheduled to happen) and the Needed Time (when the customer needs the unit).

closes the page without creating an RO
