General Preferences Page

Use the General Preferences page to enter some system limits, amounts and rates. The page contains fields, commands and buttons.

Fields

Field	Contents
Labor Rebill Limit	type the maximum labor rebill amount
Parts Rebill Limit	type the maximum parts rebill amount
Labor Rate	type the normal labor rate
Parts Override Amount	type the maximum parts override amount
Quantity Override Amount	type the maximum parts quantity that the override can apply to
Time Clock	reads Enabled if time clock is enabled for this location

Commands

Shop Planner	opens the Shop Planner page where you can set some defaults for your system
General	opens the General Preferences page where you can set some of the defaults for your system
Auto Invoice Est	opens the Auto Invoice Estimate page where you can set up to automatically estimate invoices for selected customers
Schedule Rpts	opens the Schedule Reports page where you can designate several reports to run automatically
(Setup)
Parts	opens the Parts Rolodex page where you can work with the parts database
Complaint	opens the Complaint Editor page where you can work with databased complaints
Users	opens the User Maintenance page where you can work with the shop users for your location

Buttons

Button	Function
Saves	saves your changes
Cancel	closes the page without action
Help	opens the Help for this page
