Update Parts Information

You may find that some of the parts information in your database is incorrect. You can change the incorrect information.

To update parts information,

1.  From the Planner page, click the Setup System command.

The Shop Planner page opens.

2.  Click the Parts command.

The Parts Rolodex page opens.

3.  Type some information into the Part Number, Description, or Comp Code fields and click the Search button.

Parts that match your search are listed.

4.  Click the option button for the part and click the Update command.

The Update Part page opens.

5.  In the fields, type the correct information over the old information.

6.  Click the Save button.

The part is updated.
